Boss ME-90 80’s Pack

Step back into the golden era of guitar with the Boss ME-90 80’s Pack — a collection of 4 professionally crafted tonesinspired by the polished cleans, powerful rhythms and huge lead sounds that defined the decade.

From spacious 80s cleans and crunchy rhythm guitars to smooth, sustaining leads and soaring solo tones, this pack is designed to capture the unmistakable character of classic 80s rock and hard rock.

The tones were created and tested using an Ibanez JEM Steve Vai Signature guitar, and carefully dialed in to take advantage of the dynamics and effects available in the Boss ME-90.

This Pack Includes

1. 80’s Clean – Spacious, polished clean tone with classic 80s character
2. 80’s Crunch – Punchy rock rhythm tone with plenty of definition
3. 80’s Lead – Smooth, powerful lead tone with rich sustain
4. 80’s Solo – Bigger, more expressive solo sound designed to cut through the mix

The tones are optimized for PA systems, studio monitors and direct recording, but can also be used through an amplifier’s FX Return / Power Amp In. When using a traditional guitar cabinet, turn off the ME-90 Cab Sim for the best results.

All demo tones were recorded direct via USB into Logic Pro, with no additional post-processing or post FX.
