HM 2 CORE METAL PACK
Unleash the heavier side of your Boss Katana MKII with five aggressive, mix-ready metal tones designed for tight riffs, crushing rhythms and powerful leads.
Inspired by the unmistakable character of the HM-2 and Metal Core style of distortion, this pack delivers everything from raw, saturated high gain to tighter modern metal sounds.
This Pack Includes 5 Patches:
- HM-2 Metal I – Tight, aggressive and punchy rhythm tone
- HM-2 Metal II – More gain, saturation and pressure
- Metal Core I – Heavy modern tone with a tight low end
- Metal Core II – Bigger, more aggressive high-gain sound
- Metal Core Solo – Cutting lead tone with sustain and presence
The tones were created using a Solar guitar and recorded with a Sennheiser e906 through a UAD Apollo interface into Logic Pro.
No post-processing was added — what you hear in the demo is the sound of the Katana.
Perfect for Metal, Thrash, Death Metal, Hardcore and modern high-gain styles.
🔥 Five brutal tones. One seriously heavy Katana.
