The JN Collectors Tone Pack

A carefully curated collection of vintage-inspired and essential guitar tones for the Boss Katana MKII.

This pack was created for players who appreciate character, dynamics and musical response rather than just another collection of generic presets. Four very different guitars were used to capture a wide range of sounds — from warm Les Paul textures and classic Strat crunch to smooth Tele tones and rich Jazz cleans.

• Gibson Les Paul Traditional – Warm, rich and full-bodied tones
• Fender Stratocaster Vintera 60’s – Classic dynamic single-coil character
• Ibanez Artcore Jazz Model – Smooth, warm and sophisticated clean tones
• Fender Telecaster Player Series – Clear, articulate tones with classic Tele bite

All guitars were fitted with D’Addario XT 0.09 strings.

Tone Collection

The pack includes tones covering different styles and textures, including:

Tremolo Les Paul – Rich vintage character with atmospheric tremolo
Telecaster Soft – Warm, expressive and beautifully articulated
Stratocaster Crunch – Dynamic edge-of-breakup crunch with classic Strat character
Jazz Clean – Smooth, full and detailed clean tone

These patches make extensive use of the Katana’s effects, including stereo delays and chorus, giving you spacious tones that work beautifully through headphones, USB recording or a stereo setup.
