One Rig, Three Different Guitar Tones
The TONEX Board allows you to create versatile guitar setups by combining amp tones, effects, and scene-based control.
For this tutorial, I’ve created three scenes covering different playing situations.
Scene A – Clean / Edge of Breakup
A dynamic, responsive tone that works beautifully for clean passages and slightly driven rhythm playing.
Scene B – Crunch
A more aggressive rhythm tone with additional gain, perfect for rock riffs, power chords, and classic crunch sounds.
Scene C – Singing Lead
A smooth, expressive lead tone designed for solos, with the sustain and character needed to make every note stand out.
The idea is simple: three useful guitar tones, all within a single rig.

Want to try these tones yourself?
I’ve made the JN Rig available as a free download on my website.
You can use it as a starting point, experiment with the settings, and customize the sounds to match your guitar, pickups, and playing style.
Make These Guitar Tones Your Own
Remember, every guitarist sounds different!
Your guitar, pickups, playing technique, monitoring system, and overall volume will influence the final result.
That’s why I always encourage guitarists to experiment with their presets and make adjustments that suit their individual playing style.
The goal isn’t simply to copy someone else’s sound.
It’s to create a tone that inspires you to play!
Enjoy the video, have fun experimenting, and keep playing!
