NEW: IK Multimedia TONEX Board – The Ultimate TONEX Rig?

IK Multimedia has just officially unveiled the TONEX Board, bringing the TONEX ecosystem into a much more complete and flexible hardware format.

I’ve already had the opportunity to spend some time with the new Board, and my first impressions are very positive. It’s extremely straightforward to use directly from the hardware, while offering the flexibility you’d expect from the growing TONEX ecosystem.

The new workflow also connects TONEX Player, the hardware Editor and ToneNET, allowing you to build and organize complete presets around Tone Models and take those sounds from your computer to the hardware. IK describes TONEX as one connected ecosystem where Player builds presets and Editor manages the hardware.  

And, as always, what matters most to me is the sound.

In my new video, I take a first look at the TONEX Board, explore its workflow and, most importantly, put it to work with some real guitar tones.
