🎸 New Gear Arrival: Neural DSP Quad Cortex

🎸 New Gear Arrival: Neural DSP Quad Cortex

Today a very special piece of gear arrived at the studio — the Neural DSP Quad Cortex.

For years I’ve worked with many different guitar processors and modelers, creating tone packs and presets for platforms like Boss, Valeton, Fractal and others. The Quad Cortex has always been one of the most talked-about units in the modern guitar world, known for its powerful processing, neural captures, and incredible sound quality.

Now it’s finally here in the studio.

First Impressions

The Quad Cortex immediately stands out for its premium build quality and sleek design.
The large touchscreen interface and footswitch layout make it feel both modern and extremely practical for live and studio use.

Inside the box:

Quad Cortex unit
Power supply
International plug adapters
USB cable
Documentation

Everything is packaged beautifully — exactly what you would expect from a high-end professional device.

What’s Coming Next

Now that the Quad Cortex is here, I’ll start exploring it deeply in the studio.

Expect:

🎸 Tone experiments
🎸 Amp captures and profiles
🎸 Demo videos
🎸 Possible JN Custom Tone Packs for Quad Cortex

I’m very curious to see how it integrates with my current workflow and how it compares with the other platforms I use regularly.

If you own a Quad Cortex and have tone suggestions or requests, feel free to let me know.

More soon!
